Moodle LTI Connection Directions

SNAP 2016 can be delivered through your school’s learning management system (LMS), such as Canvas, D2L, Blackboard, or Moodle. Once integrated, the steps to access your course content will be the same as accessing any other course content in your LMS.

Connecting to SNAP 2016 with Moodle


Step 1: Log into your Moodle Admin Account.


Step 2: Create a new course in Moodle

Step 3: Select the “Turn on Editing On” link to turn on the editing feature.

Step 4: Within the first section, select Add an Activity and select External Tool.

Step 5: Select the + icon to the right of the External tool type drop down.

Step 6: Enter the Tool name, Tool base URL, Consumer key (provided), and Shared secret (provided) to connect with SNAP 2016.

Step 7: Update the Share launcher’s name with tool, Share launcher’s email with tool, and Accept grades from the tool to “Always” and then select Save changes.
